A Churning-rod holder also called “ghurra” in nepalee showing a very unusual design based on the use of highly symmetrical lines to figure probably a stylized house. Light brown glossy patina encrusted with mineral pigment and covered with regular and symmetrical carving lines, obvious signs of long use indicating a great age, probably around 50 years. Very precise carving. Very good condition Height 13 7/8 inches (35 cm), thickness 2 inches (4,5 to 5 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on an iron stand
