Zoomorphic wooden churning rod with a figure on top showing a buffalo, the piece is covered with geometric carvings quite typical of the district of Rukkum (West Nepal). The carving is precise, nice brown to dark and encrusted solid patina with obvious signs of important use, minimum age is around 30 to 50 years. This piece is coming from the Magar tribes height 17.5 cm , thick 3 cm, the cow is 5 x 7 cm . Hard wood, very good condition. The piece is nicely mounted on an iron stand.
