This is a really fantastic and rare scarab for Amenhotep II.
The underside is incised with King Amenhotep II as a Sphinx trampling an enemy.
In front of the sphinx a cartouche showing the prenomen of the throne-name of
Amenhotep II (Aakheperure: Great are the Manifestations of Re) and above nefer and
divine flag for “Good God“, behind the sphinx the Hq-Scepter for Ruler.

This is really a nice strand of ancient Egyptian beads from the Amarna Period. On the strand are 34 extremely rare ancient round white glass beads with a blue circle around a red spot in the middle and nine poppy beads amulets (one blue glazed faience, four feldspar and four cornelian) attached. Perfect to made a nice bracelet.
