Green Faience Ring in the form of a lion headed Sekhmet Mut aegis with the menat counterpoise. The menat counterpoise forms part of the shank.
It is a very seldom representation of a fusion of Sekhmet with the Theban goddess Mut, which wearing the double crown.
The ring comes with the original antique stand, see picture three and five.

Date: Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, 1069 - 525 B.C.
Material: Faience.
Size: hight ca. 3,6 cm, length ca 3,0 cm; inner diameter ca. 2,0 cm
Condition: good condition .
Provenance: private French collection, formed before 1980..
