A rare small self-published book titled Collection of Exlibris Initials (Kashiramoji shōhyōshō 頭文字書票集) by Kamiya Kiyotaka 紙屋清貴 (b. 1951). Book is only 7 x 6.9 x 0.6 cm in size, and consists of 20 pages, containing 18 exlibris prints, woodblock printed covers and two wood cut pages- title page and justification page. It is signed in pencil and numbered 4/20. Published in 1989. Eighteen Exlibris prints are tipped in onto pages, smallest of which is 2.1 x 2 cm. Most prints are woodblock prints, three are woodcut and two are hand-colored woodcut prints. Condition: good- discoloration throughout, most noticeable on flyleaf and title page.
Kamiya Kiyotaka 紙屋清貴 (b.1951) is best known for his Exlibris prints and self-published books containing Exlibris designs and a series of woodblocks titled One Hundred Views of Tokyo at the End of the Century. Most of his prints are executed in editions of up to 30 examples.
