A fine and superb 18th century Chinese Qianlong period cloisonné enameled snuff bottle, of flattened ovoid form, finely worked all around the body in gilded wires with pattern of colorful lotus flowers and scrollwork enameled in green, blue, white, yellow, red, and pink, all reserved on a turquoise ground, a band of "ruyi" encircling the top rim, a further band of lappets above the foot, top and bottom rims gilded, base enameled turquoise. Comes with a fine quality metal stopper and a spoon. (Wooden stand not included)
DATE : Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 18th century, Qianlong period.
MARK : no mark or signature.
SIZE : approximately 3" (7.5 cm) high including stopper.
CONDITION : in perfect condition; minor wear to gilding and enamels; tiny production enamel pitting only. No chips, no cracks, and no repairs.
