Being offered is an exceptional and rare circa 1943 sterling silver pitcher by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Handwrought, bulbous form pitcher with a magnificent oversized carved wood handle; banded incised design on the neck. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches diameter by 9 inches from handle to spout. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. (When you run your fingers over the body of the pitcher, you feel the handwrought work—truly exceptional.) Great weight 24 ozs.
