Ritual bronze vessel. Early 20th century. Shiv abhishek vessel in the form of Nandi. Used for pouring cow's milk, or other holy liquid, on the lingam during worship. Hammered sheet body on a cast foot, and with an attached cast head, tail, and handle. 7 1/2" to top of lid, 10" with bale handle raised. 10" long, nose to tail x 4" wide. 2 lb. 2 oz.
