An exceptional Satsuma vase of a very unusual three-lobed shape and size. The shape reminds to the three-leaf mon aoi (mallow) of the Tokugawa family.
Three panels decorated with floral and animal motifs, on one side the cherry blossom with parrots, on the other side a wisteria with perched sparrows and on the other maple leaves with extraordinary autumn colors with flying mandarin duck and mallard.
The panels are divided by a gilted and enameled large stripe with flowers, bamboo leaves with phoenix mon.
Three zoomorphic feet.
Kinkozan Sobei signature under the base.
