A Japanese Satsuma beaker decorated in layers, the upper and the lower with floral motifs and in the center a long line of characters of the Japanese social classes of the Edo-Meiji period. Rare decoration inside the cup with three carp and cherry blossoming.
The beaker is unsigned, but we can certainty attribute it to the studio of Kinkozan Sobei noticing the style of drawing, the gilt and the enamels.
