Tapered bulbous vessel with raised handles and small funnel-shaped rim.
On the body a central panel with a swastika between finely drawn combs.
Dark brown bands around the body, band of carefully rendered triangles and zigzags on the shoulder. Geometric patterns behind the handles, pointed triangles inside the rim.
For a related vase cf. item no. 14 in: Jacques Chamay, Chantal Courtois. L’art premier des Iapyges. Geneva 2002. The fine design dates the vase to the Peucetian II period, 575-525 BC.

Small chip out of the handle restored, craze along the back side fixed. Otherwise intact with neat design on the front. Applied decoration at the rear worn. Areas of surface deposits.
