Bronze helmet with a high domed crown and a median ridge that vanishes towards the occiput. The carination is raised to a tiny gable on the front face and shapes the anatomy of the occipital area of the head.
A bronze ring to fix a lining inside the helmet is attached with four rivets underneath the brim. The bronze ring also carries the eyelet rings for the chin strap.
Perforations at the crown to bear holders and further holes on front and back to hold projecting finials to anchor the crest.
The anatomical shape of the carination is infrequent. Despite of its captivating asymmetry, the helmet bears the features of the Volterra subtype.

Unaltered patina with light areas and blue spots. Cracks on the doom fixed/repaired, small area of the occiput and tiny section of the brim restored.
