Large terracotta head with the soft facial features of the late classical period.
The face, the strong neck and the curly hair show a pronounced plasticity. Over the curls a wide diadem with the remains of a leaf wreath.
The head is slightly turned to the right. On the left side of the neck the remains of a garment or a ribbon.
Smooth back with old inventory label reading “Bilag no. 273”.
Relief fragment or part of an applique.
