Stone relief fragment showing a sitting youth with elaborate hairdo and well-shaped features.
The boy is looking upwards, his upper body leaning back a bit. The outstretched right arm is placed on the leg which rests on the ground, the other arm embraces the raised left knee.
The canonical stance known from Greek mythological figures like Eros or Atlas, is often shown squatting on lower registers of Gandhara votive stupas.
