Large udjat amulet made of beautiful and highly desirable azure glazed faience. Single sided with contrasting dark glazed pupil and eyebrow in raised relief.

Pierced longitudinally to be strung on a necklace. Also known as the Eye of Horus and used from the Old Kingdom through the Roman Period, the udjat amulet was considered an effective source of protection, strength and perfection.
