Original rare identified miniature painting by artist Henry Colton Shumway of New York Businessman Henry S. Mulligan 1838, 30 November, 2pm. Along with this painting there is a hair sample and an hand written letter by his wife Sally Chaplin Howell that talks about this miniature being painted by the artist H.C. Shum and other interesting details. Also included in this exquisite set there is a 1/4 plate identified daguerreotype photo taken by Weston of the the Mulligan's few years later (1850) with their 3 children.
