Paul Peter Puzinas is an American visual artist who was born in 1907 in Latvia. artist and educator.Came to the United States, 1947, naturalized, 1953. Professor arts Lithuanian State Art Academy, Kavnas, 1938-1940. Instructor Art League Long Island, 1956, Jackson Heights Art Club, New York City, since 1959.Art director Lithuanian Days magazine, 1949-1957. Painting demonstrations television, art centers United States, 1950-1960. Established Paul Puzinas Art School, Little Neck, Long Island, New York, 1961.Recipient medal for best painting of year and outstanding achievement in art, Los Angeles, 1950; first award Sixth International Madonna Art Festival, 1951; Grand National award American Artists Professional League, 1956; Emily Lowe award Allied Artists American, 1957; gold medal honor Hudson Valley Art Association, 1959; Andrew Carnegie award, 1964.Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Dockside Scene with Figures' sold at Burchard Galleries 'Fine Art' in 2013 for $7,000.
