An exquisite work of delicate and elegant Sake Bottle wrapped in white cloth pottery by challenging female artist Tanaka Yu enclosed in the original signed wooden box, and date to 2018.

Tanaka Yu was born in 1989, and graduated the Kyoto Saga University of Arts in 2013. Like many other of the younger generation of artists, she tends toward smaller venues than the large affiliated shows. She first garnered attention in Japan being awarded at the 49th Women's Association of Ceramic Art, Grand Prize (Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art) in 2015. She was quickly picked up and her work has since been seen in galleries around the world.
