Broken glass pieces are joined back together on these amazing Tea Containers by rising star Nishinaka Yukito enclosed in the original signed wooden boxes. These are an excellent example for his famed "Kintsugi" series.

Born in Wakayama prefecture in 1964, Yukito graduated from Hoshi University of Pharmacy in Tokyo in 1988, and then three years studied Sculpture and Glass at California College of the Art. Establishing his own studio in 1998. He has since been exhibited in venues around the globe, works by the artist are held in many public collections, including the Toyama Glass Art Museum, Sapporo Art Park Craft Hall, Satsuma Glass Museum,The Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, Oxford, UK, Musée Cernuschi, Paris, among others. In 2020 the concept film for this project received the Gold Award at the World Media Festival hosted in Hamburg, Germany.
