Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this outstanding group of five Egyptian amulets. The amulets measure between .5" and 1 1/16" in height. The collection includes three faience amulets, consisting of a seated Isis suckling Horus, Bastet, and a large amulet of Anubis (possibly Sobek). All are intact with the exception of the standing Anubis, which has been reattached in the center. In addition to the three faience amulets, the collection includes two hard stone Taueret amulets. The first is a brilliant royal blue figure with excellent detail on the body. The second is an outstanding bright orange carnelian amulet. Very rare in this condition. All are from a collection in the U.S. and are presented in a small case for display. All are Late Period Egypt, ca. 664 - 50 B.C.
