Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this interesting Egyptian New Kingdom shabti torso. The shabti is composed of terra-cotta and nicely decorated in pigments of red, black and white. The cosmetic details, head cloth and agricultural implements are depicted in black pigment and the skin of the figure is presented in red, indicating that this shabti was for a male. Broken at the mid-section, the shabti is custom mounted for ready display. The shabti measures 4.75" in height, 7.5" in height mounted. Egypt, New Kingdom, ca. 1,200 - 1,075 B.C.
