This is a Beautiful mid 19th century portrait of a lady from Natchez, MS. Notice the detail of the portrait and the hand painted wall paper. 30" x 25" and it is mounted in its original frame. Canvas on verso stamped L.Frank - - Boston. The painting came from a private collection in Beaufort, SC. We believe this painting is done by James Reid Lambdin.

For the last four years, I have researched every aspect of this self-portrait to confirm its artist identity!! Today, I can confirm the artist of this self-portrait, it is ROY FOX LICHTENSTEIN!! I was able to match the 1956 signature to the “rather primitive notion of patterned linear repetition”, or unknown markings (which look like Hebrew) on the side of an airplane in the RFL’s drawing “AIRPLANE 1961”. Similar markings can be found on the RFL’s TEN DOLLAR BILL 1956 Lithograph. ...

This is a Early 1820 Portrait of U.S Senator William Pinkney (1764-1822)of the state of Maryland. He was a outstanding Maryland Lawyer and was from Annapolis and then Baltimore. Early in our research, the Portrait appears to be in the style of Charles Willson Peale. (1741-1827). The Portrait measures 30" x 24" and is mounted in a new style gold leaf frame. The Painting has been restored and mounted on board.

The Marble Sculpture measures 18" tall x 9" at the base. This appears to be a Sculpture by Constantin Brancusi.(1876-1957). This Sculpture was purchased from an Estate in Highland Park in Dallas, Texas. It was used as a decoration for a private pool at that particular Estate. This Abstract Sculpture is not signed. More information will be added later.

This is a Signed and Dated Portrait by Fr. Schell. The artist trained under Thomas Eakins and his influence can be seen in this portrait. The artist was from Philadelphia and connected with the Philadelphia Fine Arts Museum. It is mounted in a new goldleaf frame and the canvas measures 24 1/2" x 20 1/2". Excellent Condition.

Please notice the new photo which shows a stylistic monnogram on her collar. We believe this monnogram represents P J P. We will be doing more research on this monnogram. We are researching this exceptional 16th century portrait of Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-1567). This oil on panel measures 20" x 17". The frame label reads Mary Queen of Scots by Pieter Pourbus 1510-1584. The frame and panel appears to be original. If you need detail photos, please advise.

This is a Beautiful Pair of Porcelain Figural Candelabras. These candelabra depict a young lady and young man in a lovely garden scene. We believe these candelabras to date to around the late 1800's. This portrait was purchased in Georgia from the West Family. The owner had been a partner in the Law Firm King and Spaulding. The portrait appears to be of a Lawyer or a Justice. This high quality portrait measures 20" x 16". It has been relined. We are researching this painting and will advise progress later. Our research indicates that this is a portrait of a young Joseph Story(1779-1845). This portrait is painted in the style of Gilbert Stuart.

This is a mid 19th century very fine portrait of Benjamin West. The oil on canvas measures 24" x 19 3/4". On the back of the canvas it is written "Francios Agman Boudard", "Cecile Dulac Bastier", and Juliette Bastier Saide, and Louis Thomas. It has (3) dates on it being 1861, 1894, and 1926. This is a early 19th century American Folk Art Oil on canvas Portrait of a gentleman by Erastus Salisbury Field. This could possibly be a self-portrait of Field. This Abstract Expressionist painting dates to 1957, and it has a partial signature on the lower left corner. It measures 38" x 28" and has a small amount of paint loss. Originally, this carbine was a Robbins @ Lawrence Model - 1841 Contract Rifle, and its barrel and stock were shortened to adapt this weapon to calvery use. The R&L model 1841 rifle was a well made contract rifle on the market before the Civil War. Of the 15,000 rifles made for the U.S., 2000 rifles were stored in the Baton Rouge Arsenal before the war started.
