This very unusual portrait of a lady appears to be dressed in the finest apparal of its day. Notice the pearls and feather hat. It is mounted in the original stretcher and appears to be a replacement frame. There is writing on the reverse of the canvas and more info to be added later.

This Autumn Landscape (13 1/2" X 19 1/4") is signed on the lower left side Francis Villeret. This oil on canvas has been cleaned and it is mounted in a new frame. Villeret was born in 1800 and died in 1866. His art can be found in many European Museums.

This exceptional oval 60" x 32" French Painting is Signed Gustave Bouvard?? The painting was purchased from an antique dealer in Baton Rouge, La and he said the painting came from Napolean Bonaparte's Brothers Estate. We are researching this exceptional 16th century portrait of Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-1567). This oil on panel measures 20" x 17". The frame label reads Mary Queen of Scots by Pieter Pourbus 1510-1584. The frame and panel appears to be original. If you need detail photos, please advise.

This monogram appears on the lower right corner of the Flemish painting in our listing. We read this monogram to be two connecting masonic letter "R&D". We belive this represents the painters of this painting. A new outside lab confirms the color gold on this canvas altar painting is real "GOLD"!! After reviewing the Bob Jones Gallery 400+ collection of religious art, we found no real gold on canvas paintings in their collection. GOLD ON CANVAS IS SUPER RARE!!

This is a copy of the 17th century portrait of Rembrandt's son Titus around 1668. The canvas has been relined and is mounted in its original stretcher. The frame is a old replacement frame. The original portrait of Titus by Rembrandt is in the Lourve. We will try to determine the age of the canvas and more information later.

The image on the right is an enlarged study of the vest worn by the Mother in the Van Dyck portrait. The Portrait of a Woman and Child was painted in 1620-21 by Van Dyck. The unusual design on the vest matches that of Rubens. The embroidery design symbol means family love.
