The size of Each Hina Doll: Shinno (prince)-7 1/4” L ong x 4 1/2” Wide x 5 1/2” High, Hime(princess)- 9” Long x 5 1/2” Wide x 5” High. The middle Stand: 7 1/8” Long x 5 1/4” Wide x 1 1/2” High. Black Stand: 9” Long x 6 1/2” Wide x 2 7/8”. This is beautiful Dairi Hina Dolls pair. Each doll has elaborate silk Brocade kimono. Both faces are made of fine lacquer finish. Especially Hime (princess) has beautiful tassel work as well. The condition of each dolls are excellent. There is a couple of worm hole spot on the back of Prince’s back side Obi. Otherwise great condition for the dolls from late Meiji to early Taisho, 1910-1920’s. It came with storing wooden box. Prince’s hat has little crack on the backside. Ornament came with Prince is Sword and hat. Ornament for Princess is crown. Stands has some age wear. Hinamatsuri (festival) is celebrated for Girls day in March 3rd, each year.
