This is very fine Japanese etching print by renown artist, Norikane Hiroto done in 1988. It has the subject of Gokurakuji-temple, in Japan. There is several same temple name in Japan. We do not know where is located in Japan. It is one of best etching work done by Norikane Hiroto. It has very fine amazing detail work around the temple, with rock stair way as well as building surrounding tree and nature. There is Edition Number, subject and signed by artist lower side of etching. Also, the back side has his signature on the back as well as dated August 3rd, 1989. There is also label of Gallery B.O.G at Kanda, Tokyo. We will supply COA(Certificate of Authenticity) from Sanai Fine Art and Antiques. Please note: backside paper has some suntan, but not on the art work. Please also note etching print has brownish color.

Hiroto Norikane was born 1949 in Hiroshima, Japan, Norikane was educated at the Sokei Academy of Fine Arts in 1973. 1973-1977, he received into Japan Hanga Association Exhibition. In 1977, he received Grand Prix award at Nichido Hanga exhibition. In 1978, he was accepted into Japan International Art Exhibition. Same year he was accepted into Japan Modern Hanga Exhibition. He had many one man show during nex 30 years at around Japan. Collections of his works are proudly displayed at: Portland Art Museum, Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, Oregon City Museum and The White House. Los Angels County Museum, Portland Museum of Art, Oregon City Museum, USA; Sado Hangamura Museum, Niigata, Onomichi Municipal Museum. His works has been collected by many collectors around the world.
