The size of Covered Jar: 2 7/8" Dia x 2 7/8" High. This is most unique Japanese Kyo-yaki (Kiyomizu-yaki) ever seen. Covered Jar, Cha Ire has the design of Heian Kimono dressed lady one side. There is Gyusha, cow pulled carriage. There are two same design of Gold cloud, white flower, and lavender flower design, all by raised painting over bisque body. The cover and inside jar has glazed works. That including the rim of top jar, cover as well as the bottom of jar. There is artist name written inside cover which can not read since calligraphic Japanese writing. The condition of covered jar excellent. No chip, no crack and no hairline. Covered Jar is about 50-60 years old.
