The size of Cup: 3 3/16" Dia, 4 5/8" Long with handle x 1 13/16" High. The plate size: 6 1/2" Dia x 3/4" High. This is lovely Japanese Satsuma Cup and plate with Thousands flowers by Shozan. I say plate because the plate does not have indentation area as cup spot. The both cup and saucer has beautifully painted Thousand Kiku (chrysanthemum) design done in multiple colors with gold works. There is flower design inside cup. Both item has Shozan marking as well as Satsuma Marking. The condition of cup and saucer excellent. No chip, no crack and no hairline. All painted design as well as gold are kept original condition well. There is one spot on the edge of cup with Kamahi(original kiln spot). Our last photon on additional photo showing, little indentation. It is not chipped one. The saucer is little bit off, but it will sit well. Dating from Meiji Period, 1868-1912.
