The Size: 12 1/4" High x 5" Dia Body, 5 1/2" Top. It is beautiful Japanese Ko Imari Vase with flare top and ruffled top. The workmanship is wonderful. It has Musha design (Samurai figure) with window on each side of vase. The vase is like a Satsuma body with crackle glazing. The between the window design, there are peony and pheasant design wonderful detail work. There are two pheasant birds design as well as Cherry blossoms, and mums design. The top vase has peony design. The condition of vase is very good except top has been restored with heavy three brass clamp and side has 6 clamps done in 100 years ago as photo showing. One corner of top has chip as photo showing. Main body has no crack and chip. This is just gorgeous Ko Imari Vase with fine polychrome paintings. It make fine decorative piece. Dating from late Edo, 1800-1850.
