Elyse Campus Cohen (1940 - )
She was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 15 th, 1940. Her art school started at eight yeas old a the Brooklyn Museum. While living in Manhattan, she continued her art education at The Art Students League; Parsons School of Design; and The New Scholl of Social Research. She moved to Greenwich Village in New York City where She continued schooling. While living in Miami Beach, she was the president of the Art League there continuing to take classes. She moved to Southern California and have a wonderful studio that she painted in almost every day. She started to paint in Oil as a child and she fell in love with watercolor medium on paper and continued for next 24 years. During 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 192 she showed her works solo art the ArtExpo in California and New York where she was signed by publishers such as; Waterline Publications MA, W&W Graphics CA, Bruce McGaw NY and Museum Editions West CA. She had good fortune to start business with galleries and distributors in Vancouver, Holland, Chile and London as well as east coast galleries. Her work was accepted by the Los Angeles County Museum rental Art Gallery. In 1990 she joined forces with Israel, Mike Pinchassi, whose gallery in the Beverly Connection, "Art for 90s" features her watercolors. Together they created a publishing company "Flowers Forever" and produced a Serigraph mixed media Limited Edition 300 titled, "White Roses" . Her works is displayed in galleries throughout the world.
