The size of Matsuri: 5 1/2" High x 6" Wide x 4 1/2" Deep.
This is fine Japanese Hatata Doll, Title: Matsuri, Festival
Doll was made handsomely with Tenugui on his head, wearing Happi coat
as well as Matsuri outfit. There is lantern written Yamagasa writing.on it.
Dating from 1980's. It has been stored away. Excellent Condition.
This is one of best form Hakata Doll.

A Hakata doll (Hakata ningyo) is a traditional Japanese clay doll, originally
from the city of Fukuoka, part of which was previously named Hakata
before the city merger in 1889. Each Doll are hand colored and handpainted.
