The size of Yatate: 7 3/4" Long x 1 1/2" Wide x 1 3/8" High. Beautiful Japanese Bronze Yatate. Yatate is portable brush and ink holder. This Yatate is made by fine heavy bronze. Yatate is made in the shape of Hishaku(water dipper). It has the work of brass at the ink pot. This type Yatate was used by Poet(Haijin) or Gajin(artist/painter). It is signed on the lower back at brush holder. Yatate has bronze Suzu(bell). The condition of Yatate is excellent. No repair, no chip. Just little used condition in ink pot.
