A Large, Splendid Bronze Walking Buddha Figure, Thailand 17th Century. With his left leg slightly raised over a square pedestal, his left hand raised in abhaya mudra and his right hand gracefully extended alongside his body. Wearing a diaphanous sanghati over his left shoulder and flaring down toward a gently undulating hemline. His face with graceful serene meditative expression, downcast eyes under arched eyebrows, elegated earlobes. His hair arranged in rows of small snail curls rising to a domed ushnisha and flaming cintamani. Provenance: An exclusive Australian Private Collection. Measurements: Height - 125 cm (49 In).
