An artfully carved wood figure of Guanyin. The Bodhisattva of Compassion (Avalokitesvara) seated majestically in rajalilasana, the position of royal ease, with the right forearm resting on the knee of the raised right leg. Details in red laquer and gilt.

Size: 31 cm. tall and 17,5 cm. wide.
Condition: Choice and basically intact. The right hand repaired and the wooden throne or base is of a later manifacture in the 19th/20th. century.
