A huge Indian bronze ritual vessel with lozenges at the shoulder and spout in the form of head and neck of Nandi, the holy bull serving as mount of Shiva. In the ritual of Abhisheka the Lingam, the aniconic, often phallic idol of Shiva is sprinkled with liquids from a vessel in the form or with parts of Nandi.

A rare and wonderful bronze and silver figure of Buddha, Borobudur style, Central JaVa, Indonesia, 8th.-9th. century AD.

A Borobudur style, with a particularly fine serene expression of Buddha, seated on a double Lotus Throne, with globe and large halo behind head. Note that this figure is covered with a very silver plating, so it's not silvered but plated with metal. This can be cleaned, but we only had the time to partial clean head and other parts.

A fantastic presentation piece of a Hindu figure of Lord Kurma, a Vishnu representation where evolves to half turtle, half god, India ca. 18th.-19th. century.
