A very interesting and quite rare massive padlock, dating back in the 18th. century.
The Lock comes from the old 'Horsens Tugthus' - a criminal institution / prison. It's a massive construction in iron with a large bow and hidden keyhole.
Size: 15,4 cm. tall (when locked) and 10,8 cm. wide. It comes with the original key, 8,5 cm. long.
Provenance: Danish Private collection of Grethe Pedersen, Ledøje, Denmark, (c.1950-1997). Purchased at Ole Jensen, Antique Deale...

A fine lot of three Roman terracotta oil lamps, Incl. a large Carthage lamp with Lion, 2nd.-4th. century AD.
The highlight of the lot a large terracotta lamp with a very detailed Lion (13,5 cm. long), but it also includes a Roman lamp with two figures (8,8 cm.), and lastly a small refined lamp (7,7 cm.). Interesting lot and too good to be sold as one really!

An attractive larger greek pottery Lagynos vessel, Hellenistic, 3rd - 1st century B.C.
Finaly made with the typical low slung belly and profiled handle. With red glaze.
Size: c. 17 cm. tall and 16 cm. wide.
Condition: Nice and intact with small chip reglued to the rim, and other small chips and dings and some wear to the glaze.

A very rare type of spear with a split socket and a relatively small leaf-shaped blade. The pole is square and there's large eyes inlaid in another metal near the socket.
