A rare type of Chinese pottery figure of a female attendant - a type of qhich we have only seen a few specimens. The figure date to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

She is placed on a high, square plint and holds a box or a shrine in her hand. Her hair is nicely styled and she is clad in a robe, glazed in green and yellow sancai colors.

Pigmented details in black and white colors.
