Interesting small bronze pendant seal with a hing at the top, depicting a fine naturalistic Rabbit or Hare, Roman, 1st.-3rd. cent AD.

A nice and interesting large ceramic seal, square seal plate with small knob handle at the back and depicting animals within a square dotted border.

Size: c. 6 cm. wide.

Condition: Very fine.

Interesting pottery flute in the shape of a bird. Greek dating to c. 600 BC.

The body is very nicely detailed with naturalistic bird features.

Size: 5,5 cm.

An old collection tag on the base: "No. 000693, v. Hassermann-Jordan Deidesheim."

Condition: A nice fragment with the head missing.

Finely made in terracota; 4 cm. wide and 4 cm. tall.

A nice little lot of a finely made bronze weight(?) and a larger heavy bronze weight (weight 83,09 grams) with loop for a strap, and a charming fibula, all Roman, 1st.-3rd. cent. AD:

Size: around 43 mm. for the fibula and 4,5 cm. for the smaller weight.

A finely preserved lead bust or head of a young aristocrate, 1st. century AD.

Interestingly the features of this bust identical to the features of the young Caligula and surely Julio-Claudian period.

Here's 4 nice pendant in Carnelian and glass, 1st. millenium BC - 100 AD.

Note the nice pair of glass birds with iridescence and also the carnelian floral bead.

Interesting and unusually large decorated bronze tweezer, likely Roman but could be much older, perhaps late bronzeage European.

The tweezer measure 10,8 cm. in lenght and is solidly constructed and finely decorated with lines. Two tiny rivets in the low area. The design is most likely Roman, but the fine execution and the rivets could point to an earlier manifacture date.

Condition: Nice VF, absolutely lovely red-brown patina, but a c. 30% loss at one side.

A nice set of three larger ancient bronzes for clothing. A darkage fibula, Eastern Goths or Saxon, c. 5th-6th. century AD. A northern European clasp for a coat, Viking Period, 8th-10th cent and a later medieval beltstrap.

Sizes: c. 55-70 mm.

Condition: F-VF, missing pins.

A very atractive bronze seal ring with two standing figures - helmeted and probably female deities, Late Roman, 3rh.-5th. century AD.

The ring of a typical Roman design with raised shoulders and rectangular bezel.

Ringsize (inner diameter): c. 19 mm.

Condition: Very fine, small chip to the side of bezel, attractive museum-style cleaning and preservation. Fully wearable and strong!

Interesting lot of 4 ancient weights of different usage, Greek and roman, 3rd. cent. BC-3rd. cent. AD.

Lot includes to fine Greek larger stone weights, with loops at the top weighing 33.57 grams, and possible used for weaving, a pendant shaped lead weight with loop, Roman and finally another Roman weight of bronze shaped as a bird and weighing 33,76 grams.

Condition: Intact with fine patinas, several rare pieces.
