An extremely rare and important Etruscan offer bowl (omphalos), made in thick terracotta glazed pottery, 400-300 BC.

This shallow terracotta bowl is molded after bronze vessels and has a dome-like omphalos emerging from its interior. Around the omphalos are deep relief decorations. Very rare in terracotta.

The exterior is finely glazed and the bowl has two holes for hanging, typical for the Etruscan ware.

A good South Italian or Etruscan pottery dish, dating to the 4th. century BC.

Unusual dish with a series of many circles inside the dish in light brown as well as on the rim. The back also painted in brown circles. A very attractive and large dish!

An attractive ancient Late Roman-Christian oil lamp, dating to the 4th - 5th Century A.D. Type originating from the Holy land.

The lamp is decorated with an impressed design with animal fights in relief. Looks like a fight between a lion and a bull, a typical match up for animal fights. The base is decorated with concentric circles.

Lamps such as this were filled with olive oil in ancient times and lit by means of a thick wick, which protruded from the nozzle end.

An extremely rare greek bell krater, from Mykenos, Crete, dating to the 6th.-5th. Cent. BC.

The krater is huge and heavy with thick walls. Finely decorated in red and black with very elaborate handles. An extremely rare piece and the first Cretan krater of this type we've ever had in stock.

Size: Huge pottery vessel, measuring 33 cm. high and 31 cm. between the handles.

Condition: Choice! Nothing missing, only a couple of large clean breaks clued w hairlines visible...
