A nicely decorated Indus Valley pottery beaker or cup, dating to c. 3rd mill. BC. Probably Mehrgarh-civilisation.

The vessel with high walls on a narrow base, painted zoomorphic motif of a cow and some geometrical patterns.

Size is 9,5 x 10 cm.

Condition: Choice for age and type. Intact with a few smaller chips.

A beautiful & large Indus Valley pottery jar, dating to c. 3rd mill. BC. Probably Mehrgarh-civilisation.

The jar is designed beautifully as a large beaker with a wide mouth, a concave body on a narrow base. The jar is decorated with several concentric rings and an animal and a flower. The other decorations could be some sort of writing (?).

The bowl with globular body on a narrow base. The exterior decorated with zoomorphic motif, wave pattern and concentric rings.

A nice, polychrome terracotta container, Indus valley / Nal culture, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

Short cylindrical body, short neck with a wide rim. The rim and top of the vessel are decorated with patterns in red and black.

LARGE POTTERY BOWL WITH GREEN GLACE, WESTERN-CENTRAL ASIA, 10TH-11TH. CENTURY AD.

Rare Ceramic stirrup spout vessel with seated Scorpio. Moche Culture, Peru, 100 BC to 700 AD.

A superb vessel in very good intact condition. A Scorpio is seated on top of the vessel and from it's back, the stirrup handle evolves.

Extremely rare early discus shaped type of pottery Oil lamp, Roman late 1st. century AD.

The lamp is of the Loeschcke Type IV and displays a scene with Hercules fighting the Hydra on it's discus. An awesome motif and an important lamp for the historically interested collector or scolar.
