A very attractive terracotta figure, depicting a Eros riding a goat, Roman Emperial, ca. 1st. century AD.

Very nice details of the winged Eros holding on the Goats horns, and the are standing on a tall base.

Size: 13 cm. tall and c. 9 cm. wide.

Concition: Choice and intact, unrepaired and with the original sand in the devices.

Ex. Private Collection from before 1980.

A very attractive terracotta figure, depicting a standing pygmae, Roman Emperial, ca. 1st. century AD.

The Pygmae is very detailed depicted semi-nud with enormous phallos.

Size: 9,8 cm. tall.

Concition: Choice and intact! A few light chips to the base, the original pigments finely preserved!

A wonderful large Roman terracotta figure Aphrodite of the Anadyomene type, Roman 1st. cent. AD.

Exquisite roman statuette of Venus Anadyomene represented naked, standing, in contrapposto position, with a slight hip caused by the lifting of the right foot. With her elbows bent, she delicately holds back her hair. Her left thigh slightly sustained on a low altar that holds a mantle at the top and presents a bas-relief amphora resting on the front.

Important large terracotta pottery figure of Aphrodites, Hellenistic period, Southern Italian workshops, 3rd.-2nd. century BC.

The figure is depicted in a wonderfull greek style as nude, posing and holding a garment or gown, so that it cover a part of legs behind. A hollowcast figure standing on a square podium.

Size: 26 cm. so very large and impressive for the type.

Condition: Attractive and intact, with some patches of corrosion and a delamination on the right...

Aprodite is depicted sitting on a rock covered with a robe; she is nude and covering her breasts with both hands. Her legs is folded casually and she wears a elegant headdress with diadem.

Condition: Superb for type, completely intact and unrepaired with remnants of original pigments and patina.

A massive greek terracotta figure of a Herm standing on a high base, Greek/South Italy, 4th-3rd century B.C.

The bust depicts a male deity with a high radiating segmented crown, underneath the long curly hair. Short wavy strands covering the forehead. In the middle of the statuette the male genitals are shown in relief. On the back of the base there's two engraved Greek letter (AK), which relates to workshop and is a signature. A pair of choice condition blue & white porcelain small vases, made during the Wanli Reign of the Ming Dynasty, 1573 - 1620.

Finely decorated in a thick white glaze and decorated in underglaze blue. The decoration is floral and the glazing is finely crackled and patinated, so they are very attractive in hand!

Size: 6-6,5 cm in diameter for each vase.

Condition: Choice! Very fine preservation for the type, the colours are very vivid and there's no repair or hairl...

A delicately made hollow terracotta figure of great appeal and quite funny really. The figure with a thick belly pronounced jaw, round eyes, large headdress with wings behind, earspools etc. Very interesting style, possibly a flute.

Size: 78 mm. tall and 62 mm. wide, comes without a base.

Condition: Choice, a full figure, but with losses to leg and top.

Interesting very large and attractive ancient or medieval pottery vaze of 'Garlic' shape, Chinese or South-East Asian, pre 17th. century AD.

Attractive Garlic/Gourd shape and with a red glaze. The vessel is possible very rare and likely much older than pre 17th. century.

A choice and beautiful pottery bowl with torquoise glaze, black markings and a finely decorated pattern on the interior. Seljug period, 11th.-12th. century, likely Kashan.

The bowl is covered with fine silvery iridescence on the surface of the interior. Very beautiful colours.

Size: 15,5 cm. in diameter and 8,5 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice, completely ancient surfaces! The iridescence could be cleaned but it's a shame to it even though the torquise colour would be...

Interesting little lot of pre-columbian pottery antiquities, ca. 600-1200 AD.

Lot consists of a nicely engraved spindlewhorl, a cure and intact pottery bird whistle, a stone head and a scarce pottery mould for casting a head.

The head is ca. 7 cm. wide for comparison.

A wonderful, larger Chinese pottery figure of a female attendant. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty 1368-1644 AD.

An lady dressed in a robe glazed in Green and Yellow Sancai colors. She is placed on plint and carries a vase in front of her chest.

She carries a hat and her hair is nicely styled. Facial details were made with fragile pigment colors of which some remains.

Height: 31-32 cm - c. 12,5 inches. A massive figure in hand, weighing 1,6-1,7 kg.
