Am interesting ready made collection of 18 pottery oil lamps around c. 4th - 7th century AD.

Collection of Late Antiquity clay lamps. Eastern Mediterranean and biblical! Among them a scarce and beautiful frog lamp (length 8,7cm). 19 pieces!

Condition: F-VF, Weathered and with some smaller missing fragments, overall well preserved.

Ex. 1970-1980s collection.

An interesting and finely gilt fragment of Stucco decoration, Egyptian, Late Period-Ptolemaic, later 1st. millenium BC.

The fragment with a man-headed falcon standing left, trampling on a rearing Cobra snake / Ureaus?.

Size: 46 mm.

Condition: Choice and thick and perfectly stable.

Green serpentine cylinder seal, Mesopotamia c. early 2nd. mill. BC. Adoration or presentation scene before an alter.

Height: 2 cm, diameter 0.8 cm.

Condition: VF, intact with surface corrosion. Better than imprint indicates.

A fantastic quality Middle- or Neo-Assyrian cylinder seal of a tall and thick type, c. 12th.-8th. century BC.

The seal carved in a rare attractive green-black stone with an Archer and winged sphinx. Top and bottom with a fine herringbone band. Multiple symbols in the fields and the archer has a detailed quiver on his back.

Size: 41 mm. tall and 14-15 mm. thick...

A rare and quite attractive cylinder seal in black stone dating to the Arkkadian Empire, ca. 2340-2193 BC.

The seal finely engraved with a scene of two heroes fighting a lion on it¨s hind legs, behind to clear sections of cuneiform inscription.

Size: 22-23 mm. tall and 11 mm. in diameter.

Condition: Good Very fine, completely intact with a nice smooth patina.

An Egyptian amulet of animal headed deity in green faience, Late Period, c. 660-332 BC.

Size: c. 33 mm. long.

Condition: Fine, repaired through the midsection.

Double side Udjat and Wedjat amulet - eye of both RA and Horus, Late Period, c. 660-332 bC.

Rare pair of Chinese Chrysanthemum Bowls or dishes, China, for ritual purpose, Ming Dynasty, c. 15th. century AD.

Ritual low food bowls or dishes for a rich Ming dynasty tomb, shaped in relief after the Chrysanthemum flower with a glaze of torquise and olive colours. Quite rarely seen as a large pottery model!

Size: Each dish measure around 130 mm...

A set of exceptional Neolithic axes, Vietnam or Cambodian stoneage, Neolithic period / Pre-Dong Son, c. 6000-2000 BC.

By far the finest neolithic axes we've ever seen / sold in the 25 years we've been in business! Made in a lovely deep red-brown stone, high quality hardstone, much better than the stone types usually used for axes in this period in SE Asia.

One axe of a well-known Red River type with a square large tang, the other of simple flat polished form...

A rare and quite attractive set of two knives and a sicle type of cutter (3), knapped in finely patinated Silex, Egyptian stoneage / Neolithic period, 5200 - 4000 BC.

These comes from an old French collection and the two knives with tags in white and black ink giving the finding place to 'Fayoum' and 'Le Fayoum' - a region just south of Cairo, close to the Nile.

Rarely seen and a must for collectors of Egypt antiquities.

Size: Each between 9-10 cm. in length...

A deeply engraved cylinder seal in beige stone, depicting the 4-winged Pazuzu as the Master of Animals, between winged erect bulls. Neo-Assyrian period, c. 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

Height: 2 cm, ø 1cm.

Condition: Nice Very fine, very sharp with small chip below.

An attractive Assyrian black serpentine cylinder seal of a large size, carved with a Deity in front of a prancing horse or Unicorn, many symbols in the fields, Mesopotamia, Neo-Assyrian period, 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

Height: 31 mm, and diameter is c. 10 mm.

Condition: Nice Very fine and completely intact. Deposits and old clay in the devices so the imprint could surely be even better.

Interesting Sukhothai Walking Buddha [Phra Leela] amulet in metal, Thailland, c. 14th.-16th. cent. AD.

With finely crackled surfaces, intact with greyish-green patination.

Size: 40 mm. tall.

Ex. L.P. Niederrhein, aquired before 1980.

A high quality intaglio, large for type and carved in an even coloured transperant carnelian stone, probably MUGHAL/SAFAVID, 16th.-17th. century AD.

Rather complicated oval cartouche, carved with artful caligraphic arabic within a double border.

Size: c. 21 mm. long and almost 6 mm. thick.

Condition: Extremely fine, completely intact with inky deposits.

A pair of attractive Celtic bronze attachment rings with engraved decor and remains of iron pins. Beautiful turquoise patina!

Length 5,5cm and 6,6cm.

A very interesting and completely intact ceramic figure of a honed God seated on his throne, holding two cobra snakes, Hinduism in Java, c. 10th.-12th. cent. AD.

Size: 14 cm. tall and 10 cm. wide.

Condition: Extremely fine for any medieval terracottta - intact!

Provenance: Old Swedish Collection, formerly in the Ban Bang Yoga Carta collection - an Indonesian professors collection, bought in the 1960s-1970s.
