A rare pottery bowl with white caligraphy on red glaze, Islamic, Samenid Dynasty, ca. 9th.-10th. century.

A beautiful conical bowl decorated with wonderful style Cufic caligraphy and decorations in cream-white glaze on redish ground.

Size: c. 25 cm. wide and c. 9 cm. tall.

Condition: Intact and very fine for the type. Assembled from larger fragments and repainted in the joint areas, very professionally done! Looks unrestored...

A high quality earthenware bowl with incised decoration in green and painted in green and manganese on the exterior (Bamiyan type), afghanistan, c. 12th. century (Pre 1221 A.D.).

With carinated walls, and a beautiful Islamic symethric pattern in high relief in the interior. As typical for the most boldest specimens, the green and manganese colours are sort of splashed on the exterior side.

Condition: Good very fine, very intact for the large size! Intact but for a restored break at the side. Very large part of the original crackled glaze preserved. Some antique wear to glaze...

A larger round bowl decorated with with ornaments, incl. a chain-like decoration in red and floral ornaments in green as well as decorative bands in black, all on a cream-white ground glaze.

A superb quality and large for type Islamic pottery bowl, ca. 12th century A.D. (494 AH – 597 AH).

Turquoise glazed, pottery bowl with flaring body rising from a short foot. The sides and center carved with a Lotus pattern black markings, all in high relief in the manor of the Seljuqs.

Condition: Superb. Fully iridescent patina in silver and rainbow. Completely intact and uncleaned. Exceptional in hand

An nice earthenware bowl with incised decoration in a white slip and painted in green and manganese in a yellowish glaze (Bamiyan type), afghanistan, 12th. century (Pre 1221 A.D.).

With carinated walls, pseudo-caligraphy and symethric decorations in high relief. As typical for the most boldest specimens, the green colours are sort of splashed on.

A large and beautiful green/torquise coloured tanged bronze sword, Ancient Near East dating to the early 1st. mill BC.

Commonly termed 'Luristani' by dealers and collectors.

An elaborate sword blade with shiny light green to torquise patina. Round shoulders and three prominent central midribs forming a lovely pattern running in the full length of the blade, a construction which points to the later manifacturing date of ca. 1100-700 BC.

1) Oillamp with it's discus decorated with a rearing panther over a Vase, with a three in the background. Very beautiful scene in good style and high relief, single handle. Part of base missing.

A very attractive pair of matching floor or wall tiles, Western Europe, ca. 12th.-14th. century AD.

Finely made with a slightly trapezoid cross-section and very thick in hard red stoneware. Green glazed with 4 rampant lions on one of them and the other with Fleur de Lis. The style of the Lions points to Brabrant or Flandern, the Fleur de Lis to France, the glazing perhaps to Germany.
