A rare and attractive early Egyptian vessel / beaker, dating to the Old Kingdom, 2649 - 2150 BC.
The conical beaker with a wide flat rim and craved in finely banded alabaster.
Size: 68 mm. tall. and 62 mm. wide over the rim.
Condition: Very fine for the very rare type, with small chip to the rim restored.

A finely engraved Hyksos scarab, 17th.-16th. cent. BC.
The scarab is engraved with robe pattern in the center and with other hieroglyphs to each side, untranslated.
The seat of power of the Hyksos kings was the city of Avaris in the Nile Delta, from where they ruled over Lower Egypt and Middle Egypt up to Cusae.
Size: 19 x 13,5 mm.
Condition: Nice Very fine and completely intact with remnants of torquise glaze in the devices.

Carved in greyish steatite with fine details of the beetle and inscribed with 'men ka re'. Thanks to a good collector friend reassigned from Thutmosis (men kheper re)

Condition: Extremely fine, particularly sharp and finely preserved specimen, patina with web-like crackles.

An extremely rare scarab seal, carved as an Udjat eye in grey-brown steatite, Egypt, New Kingdom, c. 15th.-14th. cent.
The eye is carved with great artistry, to creat a perfect Udjat eye with fine details and on the base, three strong hieroglyphs of the Ankh for giving Life the Uraeus and erect Cobra and lastly the flat Sun-disc.
The Ureaeus was the symbol of the Godess Wadjet and was used as a sign of Royal authority associated with Pharaos and gods...

A beautiful carving of a large Lion attacking a rather small feeble Human with a spear. The Lion is here probably meant to represent the Pharao and the human, could be a Levantine warrior? Very well carved base and with carvings on the back as well.
