A very impressive and decorative bronze lance with a long tang, massive socket and a broad, leaf-shaped blade with highly profiled midrib.

A beautiful lance that would have been highly efficient on combat but to large to through like a Javelin.

A choice larger polished thickbutted Danish Neolithic axe dating c. 3000-2500 BC.

The axe is polished on both side leaving the smaller edges or sides unpolished. A symethric and beautifully polished axe with a fine ancient greyish patina. The axe has been in several old collection hence the different collection numbers in black and red ink.

The thickbutted axes began to replace the thinbutted types in the last part of the 4th mill...
