A high quality Egyptian textile, Coptic culture under late Roman Empire, 4th.-6th. century AD.

Likely a Tunic Insertion, this weaving depicts a very accomlished pattern which appear to be faces or heads and other decorative symethric elements. Mounted in a collector display case so that's portable and easy to present.

Size: 15 cm. high and 15,5 cm. wide for the weaving it self, the frame is 45 cm. x 34 cm.

AN UMAYYAD POTTERY PILGRIM BOTTLE, Iraq, circa 8th century AD.

The flattened disc-shaped flask with simple loop handles and tubular mouth, turquoise glazed.

A very nice mummy-bead mask, Egypt, Late Period, ca. 664-535 BC.

In the bright colors of dark green, bone, red, black and orange, with a fringe of torquise faience tube beads. Fine quality ancient beads, re-strung into original configuration and shows a face of the deceased. It would have been attached to the facial area of the Mummy.

A good very large and heavy specimen for the type. The handle measure 12 cm. in itself and was made to take inlays of bone or stone, now lost. The blade with a broad central section tappering to sharp edges.

A highly interesting Zoomorhic silver figure, Ancient Near East, likely Islamic, 8th.-10th. century, but could be earlier!

The figure with two foreparts of Quadruped, looks like a horse and an antilope, and two engraved animals on the hunched back (center of the figure). With two very study thickening legs Looks like it was made some alloy of silver, finely patinated.

The figure could have been made during the Early Seljugs of Khorassan...
