An extremely fine condition tanged bronze short sword with proniment shoulders and a blade with a diamondshaped crosssection. Commonly termed 'Luristani' by collectors, but from the broader Western Asia area.

A beautiful larger Roman figural bronze of two Fishes, dating to the 3rd. century AD.

This bronze was once a Casket Handle on a larger Casket possible of wood. The bronze measure 15 cm. in lenght and depict two confronting fishes, eating at a rounded middle section.

A rare and interesting Cylinder seal in black stone, likely Serpentinite, Neo-Babylonian, ca. 800-600 BC

the seal carved with the image of the Great king standing with a Scimitar or Sicle sword in his right hand in front of a high doomed Alter.

This depiction is rather common on stamp seals but scarce and attractive on a cylinder! In this period stamp seals were mainly used, while Cylinders were being fased out.

A fine pair of different and nicely decorated Indus Valley pottery jars, dating to c. 3rd mill. BC. Probably Mehrgarh-civilisation.

One of the jars is of a vase form with a small round base and a flaring rim, the other of a typical Indus form with conical walls, both with painted motifs of fishes and geomethric forms.

A very nice specimen of a Danish neolithic 'point-butted' axe, a tranistion type between the primitive core axes and the later thinbutted axe. Where the thinbutted axes are four-sidet, this type was only made with sides. It dates to 4000-3500 BC - early neolithic period.

The axe is very thin in the body, but still rounded in design. It has a specialized edge that is partly polished.

An extremely beautiful axe in hand with delicious grey patina.
