A rare limestone pendant amulet with three turtle heads protruding, ca. 3rd. mill. BC.

A largely intact and massive amulet with a central drilled section with three heads of turtles symethrically protruding. Carved and finely polished in a greyish white stone, likely limestone.

Size: ca. 38 mm. (max), almost symethric.

Condition: Choice a few minor chips, exceptional glossy patina.

A superb quality Islamic bowl, Islamic, 12th century A.D. (494 AH – 597 AH). North Khorasan. / Ancient near East.

Torquise, blue and black glazed pottery dish on a short foot. The center decorated with faint floral patterns in relief in the manor of the Seljuqs.

Condition: Very fine, completely original surfaces, hairline crack restored. Exceptional silverish iridescence patina that is difficult to picture.

High quality Levantine Pyramidal stamp seal, Neo-Hittite kingdoms, ca. 10th.-8th. century BC.

The seal is carved in a very attractive and unusual semiprecious stone, it looks a bit like Jade / Nephrite and is very hard. Stone glossy, and mottled green with lighter inclusions.

- The thin-butted axe, superbly polished on all sides to an almost glass-like degree, with a razor sharp edge or bit. High quality Silex, patinated in a deep greyish brown colour.

An late renaissance or baroque period Iron Padlock, European, ca. 16th.-17th. century.

Cast and wrought lock. Very beautiful with an arched moveable part and a keyhole at one end. The lock was cobber braized or plated in the renaissance manor and much cobber can still be spotted in parts of the surface (see pictures).

Size: 13,5 cm. long and around 7 cm. high.

The amulet shaped as a the Djet pillar in a rather crude execution in this very rarely seen and difficult medium in Egypt.
