A nice ancient Greek Apulian net Lekythos, dating to approximately 350 B.C.

The bottle with disc base, spherical body, elegant neck and collared rim, a small loop handle arches from the neck to the shoulder of the piece. Decorated with black net pattern.

Pieces such as this were used for storing perfumes and other valuable cosmetics in antiquity.
