A rare pair of amulets both formed as Sharks, Egypt, Late period, 1st. millenium BC.

A beautiful naturalistic rendering of Egyptian sharks, incl. one that looks like a hammerhead, while the other also has a rather flat head.

Size: 47 mm. and 35 mm.

Condition: The largest basically intact with very minor losses, the other missing parts of it's tail.

A very detailed and finely made terracotta pottery Eagle figure, dating to the 1st.-3rd. century AD.

The piece a finial or handle from a larger vessel or Lamp, made as a military related Eagle with it's wings spread, to be seen from both sides. Very remarkable and tiny details of feathers, feet and head. Mounted on a plint.

Size: 7,6 cm. tall incl. the plint and 5,4 cm. in itself.

Ex. Danish Collection, bought in the 1950s, the mounting looks 1950s-1960s.

The islamic bronze mirrors were typically made in the Chinese style of the Han Period with added islamic elements. This mirror is large and with a recessed face and undecorated back. Small loss to the handle.

A fine little lot of three silver rings, dating to the 8th.-12th. century AD.

One ring with a small hemispheric bezel with a duck engraved is likely Islamic and belongs to the very early period. The other two either Islamic or Byzantine with dome-shaped bezels.
