A small pottery jug, possibly made for oil or perfume with singlke handle. Decorated with a beautiful, almost archaic representation of the abduction of a Nymph by a Satyr.

A wonderful bronze figure of Hercules, Roman, 1st.-3rd. century AD.

he is depicted as a nude youth, with animal at his right feet and leaning on something, perhaps a club, hence the Herculian attribution. Peculiar crown or headdress. Nice facial details and details of his muscular legs and torso. A few losses and choice green-brown patina.

Unattractive base so figure should be remounted!

A beautiful battle axe with rounded edge and 5 cm - 2 inches - socket for the shaft. Behind the socket a spike. Likely also decorations beneath the encrustions.

Here's a rare type of ancient Bactrian battle axe, dating to 2nd mill BC.

The axe with outswaying edge. A massive ax in hand. The shaft hole is 2,4 cm - about an inch -in diameter. The socket 5,7 cm in height - 2,3 inches.

12,5 cm in length and the edge is 6 cm (5x2,5 inches).

Socket is finely decorated with geometric lines.

A choice ancient axe mostly uncleaned with encrustations and nice green and red patina. Will improve if cleaned properly...
