A fine larger bowl decorated with elements in bright green and black on a white ground. A Swastika in the center, Ghazanavid Dynasty of Western Asia, 11th.-12th. century.
Size: 235 mm. wide and 85 mm. deep.
Condition: Choice, a restored section of the wall, but othervise in original untouched condition, thus rare.

A very interesting Islamic pottery bowl dating to around 1100-1200 AD, likely from Kashan or further east of Seljuq Empire.
The vessel is immitating the metal bowls from the period, with very steep walls and a turned over rim. Nicely glazed in beige and green colors and an interesting carved design with lines and dots on the exterior.
Size is 11 x 4 cm - 4,3 x 1,6 inches.
Condition: Choice for type with a hairline break restored, with much original glaze...
