A superb Kylix, Magna Graecia, South Italic, ca. 350 BC.

The Kylix is a very large wine cup. This fine stemmed black glazed kylix is of a highly attractive form with a raised stem, and a pair of gently sweeping loop handles, the wide shallow body with a corseted shoulder and slightly flaring rim. Very large and impressive decorated bronze bowl, dating to the period of Abbasid dominance, 7th.-9th. AD.

This bowl belongs to the interesting group of metal vessels which were made of high tin, or white bronze, in Persian sefîd rûy or in Arabic nuhâs abyad, an alloy of copper and zinc from around the 7th. cent and onwards.

This bowl is very large and possibly a food bowl with incised circles and a punched decoration in the center.

interesting and beautiful scarab with a Royal or private name of an important person, during New Kingdom, between the 16th century BC and the 11th century BC.

The scarab very attractive, naturalistic with finely defined details and superb preserved glaze.

The inscription looks like a name to us, though we can't decifer it.
